One interesting thing about Dyke, Nevada is how uninteresting it is. Dyke is not covered in [https://www.google.com/books/edition/Nevada_Place_Names/7GyVDwAAQBAJ?hl=en&gbpv=1&printsec=frontcover&bsq=Dyke Carlson]. Dyke apparently did not have a post office as Gamett and Paher don't mention Dyke in ''Nevada Post Offices: An Illustrated History.'' Dyke is also not mentioned in [http://ghosttowns.com/states/nv/nvhumboldt.html ghosttowns.com] or [https://forgottennevada.org/sites/newlist.html forgottennevada.com] | |||

In 2009, there was some prospecting in the area.[5]
One interesting thing about Dyke, Nevada is how uninteresting it is. Dyke is not covered in Carlson. Dyke apparently did not have a post office as Gamett and Paher don't mention Dyke in Nevada Post Offices: An Illustrated History. Dyke is also not mentioned in ghosttowns.com or forgottennevada.com
