Wind Mountain Mine

The Wind Mountain Mine site is east of the San Emidio Desert.

Exploration started in 1989, mining and processing occurred in 1992 and ore leaching occurred until 1994.[1]

Between 1989 and 1997, 300,000 ounces of gold and more than 1,700,000 ounces of silver were recovered.[2][3]
