Hobo Canyon is a canyon in the Jackson Range on the northeastern arm of the Black Rock Desert.[1]
Hobo Canyon appears in "Plate 1.-Generalized Geologic and Hydrologic Map of the Black Rock Desert area, Northwestern Nevada" of a 1963 report.[2]
The first USGS map that lists Hobo Canyon is the 1967 version of the 1954 Vya 1:250,000 quad.
