Floka is a railroad siding east of Sulphur and west of Antelope.

Floka is at milepost 479.38.[1]

The name Floka was created from the initial syllables of Florence and Katherine, who were daughters of Charles M Levey, the 1916-1927 Western Pacific president.[2]

In 1970, there was a railroad accident at Floka that killed two people.[3]

Randy McKnight, who worked for the railroad for many years, stated that the name was pronounced "FlowKay."

Floka is not in the GNIS, yet it is the name of the topo map for the area.
