Sand Pass

Sand Pass is located at the southern end of the Smoke Creek Desert. The Western Pacific Railroad buildings are on Pyramid Lake Indian Tribe land. There is a large sand pit that supplied sand or possibly lime in 1945-46 and again in 1952-66.
