J.P. Saffores
J.P. Saffores was a Susanville-based rancher.
A 2004 water rights form states that "J.P. Saffores and the Parman Brothers ran livestock in this area as early as 1873" at Fern Point Spring.[1]
Saffores is listed in the 1936 Tax List for property in Roop County.
In 1937, Saffores was fined $150 for manufacturing wine in excess of 300 gallons in Susanville.[2]
