J.P. Saffores
J.P. Saffores was a rancher.
A 2004 water rights form states that "J.P. Saffores and the Parman Brothers ran livestock in this area as early as 1873" at Fern Point Spring.[1]
In 1930, Jean P. Saffores listed Cedarville as his residence when he filed a land patent.[2]
In 1931, A Pete Saffores of Susanville was robbed of $150 at gunpoint. "Reno Evening Gazette, "Held For Trial," p. 2, February 2, 1931.</ref>
Saffores is listed in the 1936 Tax List for property in Roop County.
In 1937, Saffores was fined $150 for manufacturing wine in excess of 300 gallons in Susanville.[3]
