The playa is currently passable from the 12-mile entrance to Trego Crossing, and from the 3-mile entrance to Trego Crossing. We noticed that there are many “serpentine” transient dunes around the Burning Man event site.
 
There is a little bit of mud way out by Mud Meadow, but the playa is quite dry.
