Maud's Well is located east of Rosebud Canyon[1] and north of Scossa at S34, T34N, R30E[2] or 40°45'59.8"N 118°34'46.9"W.
Maud's Well does not appear in the 1914 T34 R30E BLM GLO plat.
Maud's Well first appears in a 1:250,000 map of Lovelock, NV 1931 (HTMC, 1955 ed.).
Note that Maude is a synonym for Burro, see And Her Name was Maud, a comic strip from the early 1900s.
