The Cassidy Mine is 3.5 miles from Highway 34 on the edge of the Black Rock Playa.
The Cassidy Mine is considered to be in the Trego Mining District.
In a discussion about Leadville: "Two of the last leasers, Ogle Swingle and Ben Cassidy, now live in the vicinity of Gerlach."[1]
