The Hog Ranch Mountains are located west of Highway 34 near Leadville.
The Hog Ranch Mine is located there. Bunten reports that the operation was located at section 22, T38R22E.
Hog Ranch Creek drains into Little High Rock Canyon. The 1906 map for Township 38 North -- Range 23 East (T38NR23E) shows Hog Ranch Creek.
However, Hog Spring is located elsewhere, near the Smoke Creek Desert.
