In 1911, four ranchers were killed in Little High Rock Canyon.

Mike Daggett and his band were accused of the murders. They were tracked down to outside of Golconda and many of the band killed.

There is controversy about what actually happened in Golconda. After his death, Daggett was called "Shoshone Mike."
