Vya is a ghost town located near the junction of [[Highway 34]] and [[Nevada State Route 8A]] in or near the [[Sheldon - Hart Mountain National Wildlife Refuge]].  There is (or was) a highway maintenance station near Vya.  [[Stolpa Family | James Stolpa]] walked to Vya after being stranded with his wife and child for eight days in the winter of 1992.

Vya is a ghost town located near the junction of Highway 34 and Nevada State Route 8A in or near the Sheldon - Hart Mountain National Wildlife Refuge.
