Mott Ranch is a newer name for Granite Creek Station, located 4.4 miles north of Gerlach.[2]
In 1918 at the Mott Ranch near Round Hole, Roy Mott shot Conrad Muller.[1] The grand jury declined to indict Mott.[3]
Polk's Reno city, Washoe County and Carson City directory (1921) lists " Mott Roy, farmer".
