Gerlach High School

The school was first established in 1931. It burned down in 1955, and was rebuilt later that year.

The UNR photo of the Community Hall, Empire, Nevada states that the Empire Community Hall was used as a school when the schoolhouse burned.

The Gerlach High School is adjacent to the Ernest M Johnson Elementary School.
