The present day Granite Creek Ranch is located on Highway 34 about 16 miles north of Gerlach. At one time, another name for Granite Creek Station may have been Granite Creek Ranch.

In 1919, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Warren owned the Granite Creek Ranch.[1] They thanked[2] the employees of the ranch after the death of their son, Errol (age 5).[3] Errol is buried at the Gerlach Cemetery.[4]
